My Silly Season, End-of-Year Checklist

Summer holidays are just around the corner 🎉🍾 (⬅ Me, but also me ➡😱⁣)
Have you started (or maybe even completed?!) your festive planning? And no, I don't mean your Christmas day outfit, or who is on what food item for the dinner table... I mean your business festive planning! 🤔⁣

Here are a few of the items that I like to tick off ASAP (by end of November if possible), so I thought I would share with you in case you need a little help to get organised with me too 👏⁣

1️⃣ If you are taking a Christmas break (highly recommend!), send an email to clients to let them know what dates you will be offline. Early, clear communication is key!⁣

2️⃣ If you have an e-comm store, will you still be packing orders during the holiday period? If not, make sure you have a pop-up or banner to let your customers know when they can expect their order and to thank them for their understanding.⁣
And, don’t forget to let them know about Christmas shipping cut-off dates (if you haven’t already)!

3️⃣ Have you arranged thank yous/tokens of appreciation/gratitude gifts for your wonderful clients and your gal pals who have helped you through the year? A small gesture goes a long way 🥰!

4️⃣ Planning ahead for January, so, when you return all R&R'd, you don't end up in a stressed state again as soon as you open your laptop. Planning is key.!

5️⃣ Don't forget to set that OOO on your emails when the time comes, so the lovely people emailing you know when they can expect a reply from you (i.e. once you have swapped your bikini & the cocktails for the laptop again!) ✨
